The ATR-P is the first step toward becoming a fully Registered Art Therapist (ATR), allowing new art therapists to begin clinical work while completing post-graduate client hours under supervision.
In supervision, we focus on developing your clinical identity, integrating theory with practice, and exploring the intersections of creativity, ethics, and self-awareness in your work. I strive to create a reflective and supportive space where you can grow in confidence, deepen your understanding, and feel grounded in your path as a clinician.
You’ll need an ATR or ATR-BC supervisor in good standing to sign your agreement form and oversee your hours, which can begin once your ATR-P application is submitted. A minimum of 100 hours of supervision is required, and at least 50 of those hours must be provided by a current ATR-BC or ATCS.
